As promised, I return to sooth your souls with some funky smooth hip-hop jazz thingy.

Way back from 1993 come the Digable Planets with their incredibly dope debut album Reachin’ (A New Refutation of Time and Space). Here is my favorite single off that album.

The rebirth of slick like my gangsta stroll
The lyrics just like loot come in stacks and rolls
You used to find a bug in a box with fade
Now he boogies up your stage plaits twist or braids.

I’m quite pissed that youtube won’t allow embedding of the official video for the track and embedding it from dailymotion doesn’t work, so those that want to view the official thing, go here.

I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!

    Cheers
