The Fear of Failure

Is more dangerous than the failure itself because from a fail you learn something, you get better.

Rather than running from your fears, the best solution is to turn around and face them. Even if you run, the fear still remains, gradually getting worse. Running from them doesn’t solve them, it only delays the moment when someone will take advantage of your weakness and hurt you. The difference between a coward and a hero is the fact that the latter chose to face his fear, thus conquering it.

A short back story to this song. Most of you haven’t heard of Elemental Zazen. I don’t blame you, he’s not very popular. But after listening to both of his albums I don’t get why. Probably because he won’t dumb down the lyrics to appeal the mainstream..Anyway, the interesting thing you need to know about him is that in 2007 he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to undergo urgent brain surgery. The most impressive fact is that he wrote all of his lyrics for his second album, The Glass Should Be Full (how many of you would state something like that in his situation?..) while recovering from the surgery and with part of his brain removed!!

Spark a square, take a sip and forget your cares
Life is never fair so accept it and never compare
Pick the God of your choice and say a prayer
So you can feel like no matter what happens you are prepared
